" Mont... the things you taught have really stayed with me like no other plan I've tried. The eating halvsies has really worked for me. I have lost 5 lbs. since our meeting last Friday (1 lb. per day) just eating smaller portions. I have found that I don't need the extra portion. I'm a very fast eater and I'm trying to eat slower as you suggested allowing my brain to register that I am full. I haven't been tempted (yet) to eat treats, but I haven't bought treats either. I have been listening to the CD every night and I truly believe it helps. I have enjoyed taking a deep breath now and then just to enjoy the way I feel. I went to the doctors yesterday. According to their scale, not mine, I have lost 33 pounds. I have decided to believe them. They say their scale is right. I will believe them, for a while that is. I thought I would let you know that I finally reached half of my weight loss goal of 20 pounds. I hit a couple of weeks where it seemed that I would not loose, and then I this last week I finally was able to loose the 2 more pounds. I have been trying to do the halvies, but I sometimes take leftovers to work, and It seems to be enough. I have had some stressful periods at work, and found I have to stop and think, Am I eating this because I am really wanting it, or am I using the food as a comfort lever. Sometimes I am able to stop myself after practicing BPT, and other times I have failed. I find that your program and tape helps me to focus on this, and also is a good stress reliever. Sometimes when I am doing my mall walking, the tape is great to listen to. I even found an article in a magazine, Women's World, on your program for hypnotism and weight loss, and those who are licensed. It was really great. Your program really does help." --C. B. "...Thanks for the reminder on the waiting 40 min. on the halvsies. I don't always do that. I've been listening to the CD every day. It is helpful. Just keepin. on pluggin on. Some days are really hard but I've been really avoiding snacking. That is the biggest and hardest change for me.
But as of the total weight lost I have lost 10 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I've still been fighting the "snack" attacks but have lost 3 pounds. I do not feel like I am going under when I listen to the CD but it is getting easier to turn away from the junk food that comes to the office.
I eat less each meal and don't feel like I have to eat everything on my plate but if there is a good dessert waiting, I'm bad" --J. M.
